2011 Good Wood Board Test
Transworld Magazine is the largest and most trusted board test in snowboarding–both men’s and women’s snowboard, with over a decade of recognition. The 2011 Good Wood results present the top performing boards for men and women for both park and all-mountain versatility. The testing process began with 450 snowboards, then drill down to 40 winning boards. Hopefully one of these winners would be the perfect one for you.
Method
Transworld’s 18 testers went to Breckenridge, Colorado to test out the boards last spring. In one week, they were doing many actions such as jumping, jibbing, slashing, and shredding at the Peak 8 terrain parks and local freeride runs. Boards were scored on 15 criteria such as high-speed stability, pop, flex, basic carving, and more. The final 40 boards represent the best of 2011.
